TASTING NOTES

Red Wine: intense ruby red in color with light orange reflexes. Notes of spices with scent of fruit like plum and berry. Full-body wine powerful to the palate with a perfect balance of tannic notes and the wine's acidity. Imprinting a pleasantly and long finish

Vineyards: Località Brigante

TERROIR

Soil Composition: medium textured with a clay origin, rich in minerals
Vineyards Altitude: 365 m a.s.l.
Climate: Mediterranean with hot and breezy summers. Area subject to high temperature ranges; subjected to water stress in the summer season

GRAPE HARVEST

Selection of the grape and manual harvesting in the crates
Time of Harvest: second ten days of October
Hectare Yield: 70 quintals/ha

WINE-MAKING

Soft pressing and long temperature-controlled fermentation (26°C) with wort and skin contact. Bottling without inoculation of selected yeasts, filtration and added sulphites

REFINING

6 months in steel tank, 2 months in bottle
