Made from Gaglioppo grapes placed on hilly terrain immersed in the typical scrub of Cirò’s hinterland. A traditional, cool rosé wine with Mediterranean scents and fruity aftertaste

ETYMOLOGY

Like a “rare South pearl.” The Greek translation of Margherita, the name of Enzo and Stefania’s first daughter, is Manyari that means “pearl”

TASTING NOTES

Rosé wine with copper reflex. Nose it shows floral scents with hints of fresh fruit and notes of cherry and ripe black cherry. Palate with pleasant acidity and persistent fresh sensations. Pleasant final closing of small red fruits.

Soil Composition: medium textured with a clay origin, rich in minerals
Vineyards Altitude: 365 m a.s.l.
Climate: Mediterranean with hot and breezy summers. Area subject to high temperature ranges; subjected to water stress in the summer season

GRAPE HARVEST

Selection of the grape and manual harvest in the crates
Time of Harvest: first ten days of October
Hectare Yield: 70 q.li/ha

WINE-MAKING

in white, soft pressing, cold and static clarification, temperature-controlled fermentation (16-18°C)

REFINING

3 months in steel tank, 2 months in bottle
